$1600 - $1800 ish avg per week
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Chick Pay $1.86/chick
5am - 5pm every other Wed and Sunday $6.87/buggy

Job Description: Primarily responsible for picking up eggs and/or chicks from growers, farms or other hatcheries at various locations and delivering to the Dahlonega Hatchery. May be required to fill in as a driver at other Cumming Complex locations as needed, complete all duties as assigned by management. Must keep truck and equipment in good working order, maintain driver's daily logs and fill out all required DOT documentation legibly and completely, will be working outside and subject to seasonal weather, hot or cold and dusty environments, will be climbing up and down stairs to get to/from the work areas and steps in/out of the trucks, typically your work schedule on average will be a 10-hour shift depending on the work load.
Applicant selected must be physically able to repetitively climb in and out of the truck, general climbing, lifting, pushing and or pulling (as needed).
This position will require the ability to perform a proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections, you will need to have legible handwriting to properly complete routine paperwork associated with the job.

Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of verifiable driving experience, in a "like vehicle -tractor/trailer ", experience with top-heavy equipment, feed truck/live haul or log truck preferred.
- Applicant must pass a DOT urine test and hair follicle test
- Must have a valid CDL Class "A" operator's license from the state you reside in.
- Must be able to obtain a medical card as required by DOT.
- Must be able to pass road test.
- Must have a good driving record and be able to pass all DOT requirements for physical and drug test.
- No DUI/DWI conviction in the past eight (8) years in a personal vehicle, No DUI/DWI conviction in Commercial Motor Vehicle ever.
- Must meet the Tyson Fleet Driver Evaluation System requirements that involve but not limited to: Points, DUI/DWI Rules and Drug and Alcohol Testing.
- Must have good written and verbal communications skills.
- Must be willing to work holidays and be on a call-in list.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, be able to apply chains in icy/snowy conditions.
