This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor/trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Must pass both a hair follicle drug screen and a DOT urine test.
Current and valid CDL License with a clean driving record.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year driving experience in a Class A vehicle.
Must be willing to work weekends and overtime (as needed)
Work schedule is an average of 10 hour a day
Pay is on Piece Rate scale when driving
Must have legible handwriting to properly complete Log
General climbing, lifting, pushing and or pulling (as needed)
Will travel to area poultry farms as scheduled
Must be able to perform Pre & Post Trip vehicle inspection
Ability to perform and complete routine paperwork
Must be able to drive Standard
You must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of verifiable driving experience. You must have a valid Class A CDL from same state that you reside. If applicant meets minimum guidelines, they may be contacted for an interview.
Trucks: Must be able to drive automatica and manual transmission.
