Job Title: Live Haul CDL Driver - (1stShift)

Hours: 3am -1pm approximately, start time and end times will vary daily.
Day of the week: Typically Monday through Thursday (4-Day Work Week), this will depend on the production schedule.Holidays And Weekends will be required occasionally.
Job Description: This position is responsible for the operation of a commercial vehicle and hauling live birds to the plant for processing plant while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Live Haul Driver will pick up a trailer loaded with empty cages and transport them to the poultry farm. Once on the farm the Live Haul Driver will unbind the cages which will allow the cages to be unloaded. Once loaded the cages are then filled and restacked and loaded back onto the trailer and the Live Haul Driver must be willing to bind the load of cages and transport them to the processing plant and drop the trailer at the live haul shed. Applicant selected should be physically able to repetitively climb in and out of the truck, general climbing, lifting, pushing and or pulling (as needed).Must be willing to complete all tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements: Applicants must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of verifiable driving experience. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL issued from the state they reside in, must pass a background check before being placed in position, must have a clear satisfactory CDL record and meet all Tyson and DOT driving specifications, be willing to work flexible hours and complete the required paperwork, logs, etc. Must pass a DOT Drug test and physical and be subject to random testing, must meet the Tyson Driver Evaluation System requirements that involves but not limited to: Points, DUI/DWI Rules and Drug and Alcohol Testing, be willing to lift, push, pull 40+ lbs., be willing to work in poultry houses and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment, be able and willing to sit/stand for 8 to 10 hours a day; be willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend, and stoop occasionally. Will be required to complete all tasks assigned by management.
Rural Road driving experience is preferred, but not required.
Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered.
