This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of feed within a 75-mile radius, while supporting feed reclaim operations. Team Members in this role will operate a diesel-powered Class A or commercial vehicle and must comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company policies, and Tyson Foods safety and biosecurity standards.
This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring feed is properly handled and delivered in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in outdoor agricultural settings and may be exposed to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and uneven surfaces. Team Members must be able to perform physical tasks associated with feed handling and delivery

Must be pass both urine and hair follicle drug tests. Must possess a valid Alabama Class A CDL. Must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this position. Must have 9 out of the last 12 twelve months or 1 year of verifiable experience in type vehicle that will be operated. Must be able to obtain a medical card as required by DOT. No DUI/DWI conviction in the past 8 years in a personal vehicle and no DUI/DWI conviction ever in a CMV. No DOT Drug or Alcohol Violation within the past 3 years, including Roadside inspection violations as identified on locations PSP report. Must be able to work weekends, overtime, and holidays. Must be able to read and write in order to follow delivery schedule and follow simple maps and directions to farms. Must pass a driving test. Must pass a pre-employment DOT Drug Screen and DOT physical. Must meet the Tyson Driver Evaluations System requirements that involve but not limited to Points, DUI DWI Rules and Drug and Alcohol Testing. Feed Haul and/or top-heavy load and rural road driving experience preferred.
