    • $87.02 per load (Alabama)
    • Safety bonus: $0.09per mile (quarterly)
    • $2 shift premium (both shifts)
    • No hiring bonus
  • Schedule / Hours

    • 50-60 hours per week
    • Home daily
    • Average 1,200-1,500 miles per week
    • Workdays: Sunday through Thursday
    • Start time: Between 3:00-4:00 PM
    • Must be flexible (early start or late finish when needed)
  • Job Description

    • Transport live chickens from farms to processing plant
    • Drive within a 75-mile radius of Camilla, GA
    • Perform drop/hook or wait for loading at farms
    • Return loaded trailers to plant
    • Unbind and rebind cages after loading
    • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
    • Use PeopleNet ELOG system
    • Communicate vehicle repair needs with shop
    • Follow safety procedures and basic instructions
    • Work effectively with others

  • Job Requirements

    • Minimum age: 21
    • At least 1 year of Class A CDL driving experience
    • Must pass urine and hair follicle drug tests
    • Clean driving record (meet Tyson & DOT standards)
    • Ability to read/write English and perform basic math
    • Able to work in hot, dirty environments and all weather conditions
    • Able to sit for long periods
    • Physically capable of lifting, bending, grasping, pulling to secure loads and hook trailers
    • Flexible to work varying hours/shifts
  • Training Requirements

    • Must complete all Tyson safety and animal welfare training
    • Must learn to operate Moffett-type forklift
  • Equipment

    • Mack conventional trucks
    • Automatic transmission
  • Additional Expectations

    • Must be able to work any shift if needed
    • May be required to come in early or stay late occasionally
