Job Title: Rendering CDL Local Driver

Pay: Piece Rate with a base of $21.90 hr
Hours: 8am-5pm
Day of the week: Monday - Friday some weekend depending on plant needs.

Job Description: This position is responsible for the operation of a commercial vehicle and transporting loads of offal, feathers, bones, or blood to and from plants while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Job Requirements:
Applicant must pass a DOT urine test and hair follicle test.
21 years of age or older
9 months or more of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the last 12 months or 12monthsverifiable tractor trailer driving experience within the last 10 years
Possess a valid Class A CDLlicense with a clear CDL record
Pass a DOT drug test, hair follicle test, and physical
Be willingtoparticipatein random drug and alcohol testing asrequired
Meet all Tyson and DOT driving specifications
Complete required electronic logbook
Be willing toparticipatein and follow Tyson's fleet safety program, attend monthly safety meetings, and attendadditionaltraining or meetings asrequiredwhich could include drive camera coaching sessions
Be willing and able to lift 40 pounds
Be willing and able to sit for 8 to 12 hours per day
Be willing and able to grasp, pull, bend, and stoop occasionally
Be willing to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environments
Ability to communicate with others both verbally and in writing
Hold a tanker endorsement oracquireone within30 daysof job acceptance
Not have already worked for Tyson Foods three separate times
Been separated from Tyson Foods at least 6 months if seeking rehire
Have less than 6 attendance points and no disciplinary warnings within the past 6 months if internal applicant or seeking transfer
