Live Haul CDL Driver - 1st Shift (Tyson)
Pay: $24.85/hour
Schedule:
- Starts around 3:00 AM - 1:00 PM (varies daily)
- Typically Monday-Thursday (4-day work week)
- Occasional weekends & holidays required
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a manual transmission commercial truck (CDL Class A required)
- Transport:
- Empty cages ' poultry farms
- Live birds ' processing plant
- Tasks include:
- Unbinding/loading/unloading cages
- Securing (binding) loads
- Dropping trailers at plant
- Perform repetitive physical work:
- Climbing in/out of truck
- Lifting, pushing, pulling (40+ lbs)
- Follow all safety, DOT, and Tyson procedures

Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year verifiable driving experience
- Clean driving record + pass:
- Background check
- DOT drug test (Urine and Follicle) & physical
- Willing to work:
- Flexible hours
- Outdoor environments (heat, cold, poultry houses)
- Capable of physical labor (8-10 hour shifts)
Special Condition
- You cannot own or keep any birds (domestic or exotic)
Preferred (Not Required)
- Rural road driving experience
