Job Description:
Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW, to transport finished product, raw materials and packaging within NRH complex. Requires commercial drivers' license. Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods with a tractor trailer, including the relative costs and benefits. On-Property Driver is responsible for the movement and spotting of trailers to facilitate the needs of the plant in sorting and processing material(s) for shipment or storage. Driver is responsible for timely movements and thorough knowledge of on-hand trailer pool and positioning. Must have the ability to acknowledge and recognize hazards on the property; vehicle traffic areas; pedestrian traffic areas; proper load/cargo securement; maximum speed limits; and safe docking operations.

Applicants must pass both urine and hair follicle tests. Must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of driving experience. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL. Applicants must pass a background check before being placed in position. Applicants must have a clear satisfactory CDL record and meet all Tyson and DOT driving specifications. Must be willing to work flexible hours and complete the required log book. Must pass a DOT Drug test and physical and be subject to random testing.
