Pay: Start at $64.78 per load
Hours: Approximately 12am to 12pm
Day of the week: Monday to Friday (5 days with the ocassional Saturday).
TRUCKS: Manual & Automatic transmission (Must be able to operate both)

Job Description Summary:
This position will be at the Seguin Live Haul plant. This position will be responsible for safely and properly delivering live poultry to the processing plant from contract grower farms in an approximate 100-mile radius. Position will require the ability to safely travel and maneuver of tractor-trailer rig on open highways, small paved and dirt roads and driveways.Securing and delivering live chickens from Tyson Farms throughout Seguin county.

Must be able to pass a urine and hair follicle test. Must be 21 years of age with a valid Class A CDL. Have at least one year of driving experience.At least 1 year safe driving record, ability to lift 25 pounds above your head, ability to operate both standard and automatic tractors. Physically able to walk around and boom down trailers in all weather conditions.Must have good verbal and written communication skills to understand highway traffic signs/ signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records. Basic math skills are also required. Must be familiar with DOT regulations.Must be capable of performing all current DOT pre/post driving inspections.
