- Days: Monday - Friday
- Summer Hours: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Winter Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Start time is typically as listed; end times vary based on daily load details
Job Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle to transport live swine safely to various locations
- Haul swine of various ages while maintaining animal welfare standards
- Ensure proper animal handling practices are followed
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Follow all Tyson policies, procedures, and DOT regulations
- Position is for Day Haul Driver only

Minimum Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A CDL in state of residence
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must pass:
- DOT Physical Examination
- DOT Drug Screening
- Hair Follicle Drug Test
- Road Test
- Must live within the defined hiring area
- Must be willing to park equipment at a designated parking area
- Must meet Tyson minimum qualification requirements on the PSP report
Driving Record Requirements
- No disqualifying accidents or convictions per Tyson Driver Evaluation System
- No DUI/DWI convictions in a commercial motor vehicle
- No DUI/DWI convictions in a personal vehicle within the last 8 years
- No positive DOT drug or alcohol tests within the past 3 years
" Training & Equipment
- TQA (Transport Quality Assurance) training required for the safe transport of live animals
- No additional equipment training required beyond tractor/trailer operation
- Must be able to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks
