Bulk Feed Truck Driver - Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for safely operating a truck, bulk feed trailer, and reclaim trailer to deliver feed to broiler and breeder farms. Ensures timely deliveries while maintaining equipment, following all safety regulations, and providing professional service to growers and team members.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate truck, bulk feed trailer, and reclaim trailer in a safe and efficient manner.
- Deliver feed to assigned broiler and breeder farms according to schedule.
- Maintain positive working relationships with growers and fellow team members.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep equipment in good working order.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation.
- Work a flexible schedule, including 6th and 7th days when needed.
- Possess general knowledge of the location of all broiler and breeder farms.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current Class A CDL required.
- Current physician's certification/medical card required.
- Must pass Urine/Hair Follicle test
- Must pass DOT physical
- Minimum of one year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to work effectively with growers, customers, and fellow employees.
- Good hand-eye-foot coordination.
- Ability to pull, bend, twist, turn, and climb.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Ability to climb in and out of trucks repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in dusty conditions.
- Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.
